1974 Fender Stratocaster

The heart of this guitar is the all original loaded pickguard.  Every bit of it is from 1974. It holds the final production year of Fender's coveted staggered pickups, each running mid-5KΩ on their original Formvar 41 coil wire.

Both the body and the neck are from 1975 and left the factory assembled together.  The original loaded pickguard was exchanged in favor of the currently installed unit described above.
